Our team continues to grow and we are humbled by the trust that our clients place in us to support their life decisions and help them navigate the challenges they may be facing. We are also so grateful for the patience of our clients who allowed many of us to take time off to recharge this summer as we tended to our own lives post-pandemic.
This month we have added a new Associate Marriage & Family Therapist, Megha Sundar, who holds a Masters Degree in Counseling from San Diego State University. Megha brings a welcoming, relatable and compassionate approach, along with a commitment to supporting young adults and adolescents through tough times, and serving the South Asian community, who face many barriers and stigma associated with reaching out for mental health support. When Megha is not meeting with our clients, she is busy supporting the mental health needs of teens in San Diego school settings.
We are also thrilled to announce the promotion of Candea Mosley to Senior Associate Marriage & Family Therapist. This means that Candea is nearing the finish line towards licensure in the state of California, having gained more than 2,000 hours of clinical experience. In addition to exuding warmth and a passion for life, Candea is experienced in working within communities grappling with violence and intergenerational trauma. Candea is also passionate about working with immigrant clients facing the challenges of migration and acculturation in the US. She has a commitment to meeting clients “where they are” and making therapy accessible to clients of color who may lack representation in the mental health field. In addition to seeing our clients, Candea lends her talents as an SDSU instructor in the Counseling & School Psychology department.
If you would like to make an appointment to see either Megha or Candea, or another member of our team, please Request an Appointment.
